How to start you exam prep and which OSCEsmart package to choose

The step-by-step questionnaire below is designed to help you determine what specific services will be most beneficial for you. Customizing your preparation allows you to pay only for the resources that suit your goals and budget.

1. Are you an LPC graduate?

The QLTS OSCE goes beyond the LPC course. Some of the areas assessed may not be covered by your LPC provider. Therefore, we would developed a special LPC Package – £700 ✓5 Mock Interviews + Attendance Notes/Case Analysis; and ✓2 Mock Advocacy/Presentation stations ✓‘Study group	Go to question 2 below

The QLTS OSCE goes beyond the LPC course. Some of the areas assessed may not be covered by your LPC provider. Therefore, we would developed a special LPC Package – £700

If you have already completed your prep on substantive law, then it is time to work on your skills. You should know that at the QLTS OSCE, 50% of the assessment is based on knowledge of law, with another 50% based on legal skills. Our copyright online video lectures explain skills related issues, in order to help you better understand the QLTS OSCE requirements and standards. The OSCE skills lectures cover: Client Interview; Case and Matter Analysis / Attendance Note Advocacy / Presentation or Persuasive oral communication; Legal Research and Written Advice or Legal Writing; and Legal Drafting Please note, no lectures or other theoretical materials on skills may actually develop your skills, unless followed by intensive practice. So, we would advise proceeding to practice at least 1,5-1 month before the OSCE. We start intensive OSCE prep in 2 months. Alternatively, and depending on your result of the OSCE skills assessment at the previous QLTS OSCE exam, we would advise signing up for a few mock exams purchased either individually or as a package.
