Solicitors Qualifying Examination (SQE) a roundtable event held by the SRA and Kaplan

OSCEsmart has participated in a roundtable event held by the SRA and Kaplan, the recently appointed Solicitors Qualifying Examination (SQE) assessment organization. The event was hosted by City, University of London on 5 September.

OSCEsmart welcomed the opportunity to meet Kaplan and share our views on the SQE, as well as to interact with representatives from other organizations, law firms and universities invited to the session.

Qualified Lawyers Transfer Test (QLTS)

The Qualified Lawyers Transfer Scheme or QLTS is an alternative route for foreign qualified lawyers to qualify in England and Wales as solicitors.

Only foreign qualified lawyers from recognised jurisdictions are eligible to use the QLTS route in order to qualify in England. The list of recognised jurisdictions may be found on Solicitor Regulation Authority website https://www.sra.org.uk/solicitors/qlts/recognised-jurisdictions.page
